Craft: Make a Doll Picnic-Style Table

Hello! Today I have an quick little craft for you to make for your dolls that just uses large popsicle sticks and glue and scissors. I started out planning to make a picnic table, but the seat part wasn't working out, so it's just a picnic-style table. If I add the bench later, I will update this craft.
So here is how my table turned out. It's nice for an outside picnic table for your dolls.

You will need the jumbo popsicle sticks, some glue and glue gun, and some scissors or shears.

Make an A with the sticks that don't touch at the top point. Just leave about an inch sticking up. Glue them on carefully. You can trace around to make sure you glue them on where you placed them.

Now cut off the extra inch on both. Also cut the excess on both sides. You might need a parent's help.

Then flip it over and glue another stick on and cut it off to match the first one. It should look like this. Make two of these, making sure they match up.

Now you are going to line up 6 jumbo sticks neatly then glue on the leg.

Now you can go ahead and glue on the other leg if you want a smaller table. But I decided to make mine longer, so I cut the popsicle sticks of on the ends, repeated everything...

...then connected them by gluing a couple more sticks underneath connecting the two half tables.

Flip it over, then you have a picnic-style table for your dolls.

They wanted to use it right away, so we took it out and had a picnic
It holds a lot of food. :)

Oh no you don't, Caramel!

I hope you enjoyed!

  6. For each bench part, maybe you could cut the popsicle stick in half, and then make a slit in one end of each half, big enough for a popsicle stick to fit in the slit. Then you could put the slit onto the base side, and popsicle sticks on top of the popsicle stick halves. I don't know how many to make it strong enough, it's just a suggestion.
